What Are the Components of Plastic Packaging Bags?
Packaging bags are widely popular across all walks of life today: convenient, efficient, and ideal for transportation. There are four major types of packaging materials: plastics, paper, metals, and glass. Among them, plastic packaging bags account for a large proportion. Plastic vacuum packaging bags can also keep products fresh, facilitate transportation, and resist crushing. So what are the components of plastic packaging?
Packaging Bags
Plastic packaging bags are a category of materials mainly made of synthetic or natural polymer resins. After adding various additives, they become ductile under certain temperature and pressure, and can retain their shape once cooled.
The process in which natural or synthetic polymer resin molecules are evenly distributed with additive molecules in a molten state is called plasticization. If this process is completed, the material is considered fully plasticized; if not, it is regarded as unplasticized.
Although plastic packaging bags are currently the second most used packaging material, their application scope is still not as wide as that of paper and cardboard packaging.
